Today screen stock program

I have seen a few stock programs for the today screen but nothing that i have liked. I was wondering if their was a program out there that was more like weatherpanel. I understand that costant updates would eat battery life but updates every 30mins to an hour would be fine for me.

If it cant be done thats cool. I just wanted to put it out there incase some one had a ton of free time and wanted a project.
