espn style scroller

I've seen rss readers, but what I'm looking for is a prog that scrolls on the bottom of the today screen like the scroller on espn. I've seen some motorola v557s doing this at my wireless store! any suggestions?

pocketRSS and pRss reader do it. I think egress reader does it too. pRss reader is free. There are some sports feeds out there and I have had NFL and NCAAF scores scrolling on my today screen, updated every 15 minutes.

seems to me that most people use egress. it however is a pay program, so i use prss reader. it seems to work pretty well for the most part. i did have problems with it before, but i think it was the entire combination of software i was running at the time. my setup is much more minimal now (no spb diary, phonealarm, or wisbar advance 2) and it seems to be working fine. it is still in development too, so the creator still updates it. more importantly for your use, it has the option to cycle on the today screen.

If you want any other sports let me know, i found the sports links on another forum, but the guy was taking requests as to what was added. i requested ncaa football and it was added 2 weeks later, so i think they are open about it.

I was in the same situation as you were nmeister...I had it (pRSS reader)load on my 700wx before but there was a strange confict with some other program that made it basically useless. I too have cleared out a bunch of stuff (no WA2 or WAD) I just loaded it again a few days ago and it's running flawlessly. Me likely!

Late,
Coz
