Pointui 1.5a is out and it's sexy as hell!!
http://www.pointui.com new features include support for languages like Chinese and Russian AND a built in Contacts Manager!!! AWESOME! Sadly this means that I will say goodbye to PocketCM... but pointui is just getting better and better! |

First, there's been another update since your post (to 1.51a). Secondly, I hope you didn't get rid of PocketCM. It ( and anything else, for that matter) are better at editing your contacts than the incomplete built-in contact manager in Pointui. Maybe the next version will do it. Third, even though Pointui 1.51a works well on 320x240 devices, it doesn't play well with some of the new 320x320 devices (i780 & Treo Pro, to be specific). For some reason, 1.02b doesn't have some of the issues of the later versions. So, that's what I'm using on the Treo Pro. Fourth, there are still some bugs. But the good news is that there's a new version coming. The original release date was supposed to be last month. That slipped, but the last comment indicated November. So, we're only weeks away, hopefully. There are supposed to be a free & a paid version at that time. HTH Bill |

Point UI
I hadn't seen if anybody had posted this up yet but I downloaded it for my Mogul because I am testing interfaces for when my new vouge gets in this week
http://www.pointui.com/Home.aspx It runs smooth on the mogul and to me it is nothing short of amazing. I havn't encountered any bugs yet, and did I mention, freeware? From the website. "Take back control of your device with Pointui Home. No need to fumble for a stylus anymore as Home is designed with generously sized controls. Home's intuitive controls and highly responsive user interface makes using your device a breeze. Control your device via touch or the directional navigation" ![]() |

Re: Point UI
Actually, been on here for a while just dont post much, and this was the slickest thing I have found and it was recently updated. Didn't actually find out about it here. Thanks for the comment though. Just thought there might be someone else that might be interested in this that didn't know about it. Especially since it isn't actively discussed.
