does HTC Camera Album work with WM5?

hi guys,
i had my HTC Camera Album software working fine on my old phone which ran WM6.
but my "newer" phone has WM5 and it doesnt seem to work when i try to run the application. it just does nothing when i try to open the app.

There is a working version out for wm5 phones but the gesture aren't working to my knowledge.
