installed tcpmp and vtap and getting choppy vids...any ideas?

hey, I recentley installed both tcpmp and vtap on my xv6800 and when I go to youtube classic or google video or use vtap to search for videos, I can play them, and the audio works fine. But in every case the video is really choppy, even when my signal is good or when I am using wifi. does anyone know why the video might be choppy or how I might be able to fix that?

also, is there any way to be able to play youtube videos without going to the classic view? when I try to play youtube videos in the regular mode, my xv6800 opens up windows media player and says there is an "unspecified error." Any ideas on how to get that to work?

thanks!

A search is always appreciated before posting on a well discussed problem.
