I hear you... But there are work arounds...
I wrote an app for the PPC that would read the user generated files in Logos Libronix but never really refined it beyond an alpha... (The exe and source is up on my blog at

I have had limited success using SnagIt to capture (in scrolling window mode) entire books as PDFs I can view on my Apache (because I sized the capture screen to be PDA sized).
I have also used a streaming audio capture tool along with Logos beta screen reader to convert books to MP3 format, which I then copy to my Apache to listen to on the metro...
Did I mention I really really like Logos?!?
