and is there an option to enable the animated GIF's?

can we store animated GIF's in different directory, or does it have to be in the GFX dir?

Version .99p is the most current version, and yes, it does allow animated GIF's. You can store them in a different directory, even a memory card, but for stability (at least on my device) I prefer in the GFX folder.

Does anyone have any gif's that are like smoke billowing but with a black screen as background..??

Included is a picture of what im talking about but its only jpg, i cant seem to find an aminated version of something similar.. Thanks in advance.. I'm sure someone knows something haha..

i was looking for that same thing "infact my Today screen wallpaper is the image u posted" but the closest thing I found was the blue flames animated image, which is still pretty tight.. I would post my S2U2 animated image that I have now, but i think i'd get yelled at lol... "it shows the boobies" haha... I can post that blue flame.gif if ud like otherwise GL..

i'm with u...i have two animated files sitting in the folder...and ill i get is a black screen

What worked for me was going into my Program folder--->SU2U--->gfx and rename the file "wallpaper" to something else in case you want to use it later, then copy your image into the same folder and rename it to "wallpaper"
Then do a soft reset and it should work.

Everyone who sets animated gifs as wallpaper needs to go download A_Cs S2V. Its an image viewer that lets you set S2U2 wallpaper directly. Its just easier than messing with wallpaper.jpg etc. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358187

Thats exactly the way I have been doing it. Its much easier that way. just put the gif image in your my pictures folder, use S2V to open it and then set it as wallpaper for S2U2. Its great
