i need a different number to come up on someones caller id.....
just like any random 10 digit number would be fine..
i saw the voice changer thread and i dont plan on doing any kidnappings buttt a caller id spoof would be great...

anyone know any software?

not websites where i have to pay for minutes , thats just d u m b!

i saw something about ghost txts a while back so there has to be something possible. i saw a website but its like 80bucks for 480 minutes...thats dumb...there has to be a program =)

I have the answer, There is a thing called SpoofCard

It will not only allow you to place ANY number on the persons caller ID, It will let you record calls and even use a VoiceChanger

Unfortunately it is not free

Only in the UK can you program your outbound Skype CID, here in the US they do not allow it for legal reasons.

Due to the legalities of spoofing caller id in the public domain, you want a company which charges you, maintains their own legal fund and generally wont throw you under the bus in case of something happening due to a clients actions.

It would be "Pretty Dumb" to use a lesser service which left you liable. I gladly pay for something so valuable, i use the service while working on client background history and debt collection.

They are working hard to make caller ID spoofing illegal, this is a hot issue in congress right now.

Its not as easy as just running a program due to the way telco works.

Spoofcard.com is the best service.
