I have WM6 install and am still running my prog... of course.. lol..

no problems.

Only thing that is different.. you have to set ring tone to SILENT or something, becuase if you chose the NONE now, it will not make any sound.. you will hear the gateway open but won't hear anything.

Just set your ring tone to "silent" (it's included with my prog. when u install) and you hear everything. (make sure your VC settings are set to announce incoming calls)

Working good for me still, but I am updating it very soon.. hopefully this week to remember setting, ect..

Thanks, I'm glad to hear that. I've been using the silent ringtone all along, so that's no problem. I'd ready too many too many reports of the incoming annoucement not working, so I was afraid to try WM6, but now I will. What are you expecting to fix/change with the new update? Thanks for all your hard work.

This works great with my wep200. But alas, it doesnt work with my s9.

I just installed WM6, MSVC 1.6 and IDTransfer, but I can't get it to work. The fault is obviously with MSVC since I don't get caller id announcement (yes, it is enabled) through the phone speaker either, so of course it won't work with the BT headset. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I use an older version of Bad Sector's program, CallerID 1.06. I've (unfortunately) had problems with the IDTransfer versions never working on any of my ROMs :dontknow:. With his blessings, I'll attach it to my next post (unless you still have your older versions, Bad Sector ;-)). It may assist others with the same problem.

I think my problem is more than the issue of CallerID vs. IDTransfer (which I did have working fine in WM5) because I can't get caller id announcements even through the phone speaker without BT on.

I am new here, I cant seam to find the program you are talking about, the one that you fixed for transfer caller announcement to bt headset. Do I need voice command? or does your program include it? I have looked for quite a while and am unable to find this program. I am using the mogul 6800. Thanks...

I couldn't get it to work at all -- couldn't get caller ID announcement work over the phone speaker or BT headset. I have up and went back to WM5 3.5 until I hear this is fixed.

Works great now on my 6700 running WM6. I ran the MSVC 1.6 and ID Transfer. I get both ringer and announcements over headset.

Hello all... I've been way to busy at work to finish my update.. so that will have to wait for a while longer :(

But anyway, Cmeys... and others with problems with WM6 + MSVC + IDTranserv1.03 =

You need to go thru your settings. The settings are mentioned in the first post I believe...

I think you goto settings, then vc settings.. in there you highlight the phone option and hit notifications or options or both and check out those settings... I think you can tell it to always annouce over bluetooth and it will work.

In one of those is Announce Incoming Calls, make sure that is checked. Sorry i can't remember all off the top of my head.. but should be in the first post.

Also, make sure to check your phone options.. open the phone pad, then menu, then options..i think.. Make sure you have the ring tone to something other than NONE. Also make sure your in phone volume is turned up...

Other than that.. you can try not to run my programs and test to see if MSVC will just work automatically now?

That's all i can think of right now.. but I have had no problems with the new WM6 and my prog...

Make sure to check the Enable on my IDtransfer screen? Gotta be just something little being missed... Hope this helps ;(
