Why is this one not free, but the mini opera for like let's say a Blackberry is free..

I don't think they've decided if they are going to charge for 9 or not, right now they are selling it to OEM's and should be appearing in phones sometime 1Q of 2008. I know 8.65 they charge for.

Because is their full browser that integrates with PDAs (ie WM, s60 & UIQ 3) & not a Java launched one.


Opera Mini has its own perks but Mobile has more productive ones.

Yes, because the author of the video bundle plugin is using code from IE, he would have to comepltly rewrite the app to make it work for opera.
