A Question About MorphGear...

I just downloaded MorphGear today, and I was really excited when my favorite games were actually loading correctly. Unfortunately, the FrameRate stays around 12-15 after any game starts up. It's so slow that it's no fun what-so-ever!

Does anyone have any ideas? Is there something I need to do in settngs?

I run MorphGear on my 700wx. I overclock (with XCPUScalar) the phone to 520mhz and everything runs great. I also close everything else that I have running at the time.

no place in particular. Usenet, online sites. Most of the time, I just search "'name of the game' SNES rom" and try the first few sites that come up. They all work so far, except for Doom which has caused my Treo to hang.

If you're getting a SNES rom, just make sure your file has a .smc sxtension. Open morphgear and browse to the folder where you have your game roms, and voila.

for all the roms I've downloaded I get a not enough memory message. what memory is it looking at? I stop all other programs before opening and have about 31mb program and 25mb device free. any clue how to fix? or is it just because they are bad roms...

Sorry, no idea...where do you get your roms from? I can check one out, so at least you'll know if that's the problem.

Also, I have MorphGear and the roms set up on my storage card.

Ues Morph Gear for all your emulating needs. It has packs for GBA, SNES, NES, GB, Sega, Sega Master System, and a few others. Works great on the Mogul, now all we need is a Multiple key press KB fix like the one for the 6700. All roms load fast, and play as normal, except for the GBA, they load fast but are kinda slow in the beginning but speed up during game play.

There are other emulators to try though.
