Re: How does Media Player stay on after power-off? Can this be applied to other app?
I have the same problem with audible player. even though it has a setting to keep it going, it doesn't help.

Re: How does Media Player stay on after power-off? Can this be applied to other app?
I have a solution for that. I'm getting a very small external GPS receiver. Like you said, the internal GPS of TP2 will consume a lot of battery, but with an external GPS receiver, the battery consumption will be cut down significantly.

I don't see how psshutxp would help, the problem is not the backlight going out, it's the Audible app stopping after the backlight goes out. Audible is working as i want now that i've flashed to Energy.IMAGIO.21916.Titanium.Nov.20 ROM.

Media player does not shut off/standy by the phone, it only shuts off the display and that will drop batter usage by about 60% when listening to music (got this from someone at MS)

That is just reiteration of my OP. My question was: is this replicated in other apps that seemingly shut off upon entering sleep mode?
