Looking for a good app closer

I have tried the HTC End Key, and X-Button but what I want is a program that will actually close applications whenever I hit the X button. I want them to close immediatley. Any suggestions?

http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/quickmenu.shtml

Best out there in my opinion. Smallest memory footprint, can be set to close programs upon pressing X.
Also has an optional "enhanced" start menu that adds a list of running programs to the top of the menu. Very nice for switching back and forth.
But just so you know, X-button can be set to close on tapping the X as well (by default it may be press-and-hold, but a simple config change fixes that).

the htc task manager has both that x-button close button and task manager on the today screen. It comes with a task manager app under settings>system>button that enables progam to be ended by tapping x. I ve used it and it works...actually closes the programs by tapping x and u dont even need the today screen manager.

Ho0w to Run .Exe File on PPC?

I have the same question. Do you just click the .exe file to run it on your PPC? I thought PPCs don'r run .exe files...

+1 for QuickMenu.

As for setting up QuickMenu:

1. Unzip the .rar file on your pc.
2. Connect your ppc via ActiveSync.
3. Create a new folder in your programs folder called QuickMenu.
4. Drag the QuickMenu.exe and the two .dll files to the new folder that you just made.
5. Tap on the .exe to start the program.

It's pretty straight forward. Let us know if you have any other questions. For more info on QuickMenu go here:
