but what's the point. you're phone will rock too far to one side because of the weight, and it'll spill everything. ![]() |

Re: Ultimate Application??
Lmao, I think the scale is a pretty good idea, maybe for a jewler or something like that. How bout we brainstorm on some constructive ideas for its use? Im sure we are all aware of the "other" uses of it, but how about some practial every day uses? Its definately a cool concept!!!!!!!!!! I support it!!!

You've been using too much of your own product and you're getting paranoid. The cops around here can barely work the computers in their cars let alone get on this site. I would like to see one of them even figure out who my provide is and if they're going to waste resources hiring someone who knows how to to anything like that to trying to track me down for a few g's of weed I'd be happy to stand in front of a judge and ***** about outdated pot laws again. Anyways, I can legitemately support this app as well. I make home made bread and I don't want to mess my drug scale up when I'm weighing out my yeast, makes my pot taste like ***. 8g yeast per batch. You could probably just weigh out all your salt etc and use the weights rather than tsp/tblsp measurements and then just measure your flower in a cup like it says to do. Edit: imo the balance idea is terrible. Our screens can read sensitivity for touch, it would just be a matter of converting between the measurements. I'd rather not spill my stuff or have to stand on 1 leg and balance a scale while whistling dixie etc. Last edited by Willis111; 06-06-2009 at 05:14 PM. |

Re: Ultimate Application??
Realistically, i thing a lot of folk here are right in saying that the screen wouldn't be sensitive enough. I think like 10 grams would be the minimum or something like that. The pressure sensitivity values in the registry APPEAR to be (correct me if i'm wrong) completely abstract screen readout numbers. Also, the pressure the screen reads seems to go from nothing to full-on very quickly. now, if you primed the screen by placing something to "zero out" the scale that stayed on WHILE weighing something else, it might provide enough pressure to weigh a small amount like a few grams. I don't think it could read anything higher than like 500 grams at all, though. just my dual penny action here.
