Re: Google Voice app for WM
I am hoping someone can help. I have copied the rules provided by MordyT to my HTC Touch Pro 2. But I do not seem to be able to get them to work.
The two things I am trying to do are:

Re: Google Voice app for WM
magicall doesn't do sms filtering. What is your problem in magicall? Did you place your pin and number in the rules. Then when magicall call is running, you simply dial a number as usual and it calls google.

Re: Google Voice app for WM
Yes. I have entered my phone number and pin into the rules.
When I dial a phone number from the keypad I get through to Google Voice and it begins to play my message. I hear, "this is a free call" and then: + a long silence + or, it dials a number, but I hear it ringing (from the phone I am calling from) but it isn't calling to the phone I am dialing in the same room and, it then sounds a slow busy signal. I have tried prefacing the 10-digit number with a 1 & have gotten the same results. I have no idea where it might be calling to. Suggestions? THanks. |

Re: Google Voice app for WM
I have read that people have used Magiccall to send SMS messages through Google Voice so that the call shows as coming from the Google Voice number. Is this what you mean by call filtering?
Thanks. M |

Re: Google Voice app for WM
By using Google voice you can able to make free call by using Internet. For that you have to register and get new Google number from that number you can able to do call or receive call. And by using voice mail transcription you can convert your voice mail into text mail without writing it.

Quote:
If someone calls your Google Voice number and you have it set up to ring your cellphone, it will do that but answering the call will still use minutes if that's how your plan works. Placing a call through Google Voice has some advantages, but will still use voice minutes. Without using another, independent service (such as SIPgate), you cannot place or receive calls via Google Voice using only cellular data services and not voice minutes. |
