create a read me file for your apps that go along with install that gives a link to your site. or have a provxml that launches your site when app is installed. then when you get them in marketplace or on freewarepocketpc and people install an app the appeals to them they will know where it came from.

some may not like being redirected after an install, but promote yourself in some way in your cabs. just a thought.

If you're going to quote Coz then ensure that you quote the entire "Coz Statement".

Coz sent this to Mr. 3000:

What's up my man?

Regarding this thread:

We tend to frown upon overtly pimping of other websites. I'd recommend putting a nice link to it in your signature.

thanks,
Coz
With a new thread being started Coz will now close this one down. I may include a link to this closed thread in my signature, but I haven't quite made up my mind yet.

As a refresher the "overt pimping" of other websites can be considered spam. Y'all know what spam is, don't you? Spam can be defined as, "Forum spam is the creating of messages that are advertisements, abusive, or otherwise unwanted on Internet forums. It is generally done by automated spambots. Most forum spam consists of links to external sites, with the dual goals of increasing search engine visibility in highly competitive areas such as weight loss, pharmaceuticals, gambling, pornography, real estate or loans, and generating more traffic for these commercial websites. Some of these links contain code to track the spambot's identity if a sale goes through, when the spammer behind the spambot works on commission."

That is why the staff encourage people to put their website links in their signatures.

Now for those that care my office provides four (4) different blends of coffee for all occupants of our building (my company owns the building so we buy the coffee). Said coffee blends include, Teton, Decaf (is that really a blend), Sumatra Dark, and Columbia Supremo. Now for the first few years that I worked here I rather enjoyed the Teton blend. It was an easy flavor for the morning and I usually don't drink coffee after 11 a.m. But starting about 2 years ago I switched to the more robust and flavorful Sumatra Dark. This earthy blend goes well with most breakfast treats and is quite satisfying. Every once in a while I'll mix a couple different blends together (Mrs. Boogie does the same thing but with wine...Mrs. Boogie likes her wine) and have made some lovely blends that way.

Speaking of Mrs. Boogie she does enjoy her wine. We used to both enjoy white wines but within the last 4 or 5 years have gone over to the reds. We (she) enjoys Zinfandels and Malbecs mostly. There are some pretty decent boxed red wines available that we drink during the week and save the "good stuff" for our weekends. Mrs. Boogie also enjoys an Apple Martini every once in a while...but I'm not that big of a martini drinker.

Yesterday our office had a BBQ lunch. Now this is something that we do about once a month. Everyone signs up to bring something and the company usually pays for the meat (hamburgers, salmon patties, brats, etc.). Yesterday our we had pulled pork, various salads, a selection of fruits, chips, and ice cream and cookies for dessert. Now I'm not a big lunch eater and usually try to ride my bike at lunch so these BBQ's really cut into my schedule a bit. But it's a small office and we're all good friends so it's not that bad hanging out with the crew during lunch.

Well I should probably wrap this up.

Thanks for your considerations,
Coz
