Help! Can't remove the home curtains

Well i've installed couple of cabs that remove the sprint background curtain and the calander/alarm off background curtain. I've found a thread with the cabs but installed em and then soft reset it but still doesn't remove those 2 curtains here is the link http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=84506&page=3 . Oh and this is for the tp2. Anyone have a different cab that I can try please?
