Thanks to faria extracting this and updating his post over @ xda with the new working version (and to mala for pointing me to it ). Its a small task manager that actually closes apps when hitting the "X". You have the options to close when u tap it or close when u tap and hold. Just install the .cab and the settings for the app can be changed in the settings/system/x-button. Also when installed it takes up about 106kb slightly bigger than magicbutton but Im gonna give it a run and I will post what I think of it back here.

eh, got it to work.

it's nice for noobs to WM5 since they don't have to search out and install a 3rd party app.

for experienced users who already have tons of options e.g. AE Button Plus, magic button, etc., it really offers nothing new. So if you have an alternative, I'd skip it.

Plus, it only seems to work via the Stylus tap as opposed to changing the function of the OK button (unless that can be configured under buttons? )

nall u have to use the stylus but hey u do 2 on magicbutton if u wanna close the app.
