Creative Minds wanted!!

Good Evening Everyone,

I'm hoping one of you genious's out there can help me with an annoying issue

I am currently using aveenu to download files from a folder on my desktop. Everyday I need to download an updated 18MB file to my ppc. The theory is sound and it works, but everytime I get a call I lose the download.

What I am wondering is if there is a download manager add on for IE that will do a better job of resuming downloads? If not; any other ideas would be appreciated.

can you do the download in the middle of the night? A mortscript could probably be whipped up that would do it for you.

Or, can you use wifi? A phone call should not (depending on your phone anyway) break into a wifi transfer.

WIFI works fine, and no I cant download at night. Everyday at around noon I need to download some reports from my office. I am always on the road so I cant count on WIFI. I've started to work with "handy get" and Mobile Media Center. It seems to be doing the trick, but I'm now having some download issues.

What about an email.

On your PC you could run a Scheduled Task that runs a command line email program like blat.exe or the like and email yourself the file everyday at noon. Then you get the email notice on your phone and save the attachment to the appropriate location on your phone. It would work best if you where using WM6 with Exchange.
