What format is the text tone in?

I tried googling and converting to .wav. It sees the file but will not play it. So what format does it need to be in? The mp3 is attached if someone wants to convert it for me.

This is the ringtone of the dethphone from Metalocalypse if anyone wanted to know.

Re: What format is the text tone in?

U can convert with Nero wave editor to convert.

In the meantime, text alerts are in wav format but mp3 can be used as wll. all files need to be placed in the Window's directory to be recognized by your device.

Re: What format is the text tone in?

MP3 worked... didn't think it would. I was told it had to be in .wav format. I have no clue why my .wav file didn't work.
