LEDUp - Simple LED control program

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but what do I do once the program is installed? I see the 'Accessories' folder under Programs which gives me access to LEDUp, but I don't see how I can assign a new email message or text message to blink or do whatever.

Hints anyone?
