Inclinometer app?

Anyone know if someone has developed an inclinometer app that will work in Win Mobile? Just something to show the degrees if you sight up or downhill along the edge of the phone. This would have a great use to many people I believe that would be willing to pay a fee for. (ME)

Very nice find! Could this be used as a level as well? I guess I have no clue what this is really used for.....

Re: Inclinometer app?

Hi guys.
This application is developed primarilly for offroad vehicles to watch your pitch and roll angles,so you could be warned for critical angles of your vehicle in the difficult terrain,so you will prevent to flip it on the roof.
However I developed also real offroad version(not flight version),that I want to introduce in this opportunity.
My software is named "Landmeter" for HTC,currently in version 1.1. This version shows 2 rotable discs with pitching and rolling view and allows separately to adjust warning and critical angles for 4 axes(left, right, front, rear) with sounds and optical indication. Just google for it.
Well Inclinometer77 is my idea and my colleague shows me the way,how to develop it.
Shinky77 is the author of this airplane version and I am the author of the car version and I am working on airplane version with some extras and nicer skin(IMHO),under development, which I want to release soon.
Best regards,Tomas.

Re: Inclinometer app?

Good job on the existing application. Any chance I could get you to look into writing a new app that's kinda similar? If you get a chance, check out Tilt Meter Pro for the iPhone. I'm looking for a windows mobile 6.5 app exactly like this one.

I don't know if it can be done, but could you try to throw a compass into the mix as well? The problem, I believe is that the compass cannot be based on movement from 1 point to another, but needs to act exactly like a compass that you can hold in 1 place and it tells you which direction you are facing.

I dont think that can not be done unless you have an HD2 and maybe the EVO, since phones need to have movement for data from the gps to give you the direction you are headed.

The HD2 and maybe the EVO can give you magnetic north which you are looking for like a true compass when standing still.
