Greetings everyone. Ive been using an app called travellingwave voice predict. Here's a lkst of what it does and a link to a little video of it in action. www.travellingwave.com/products.htm
VoicePredict 1.0.0.3 for Windows Mobile 6.x Professional and Standard. Bug Fixes: * Fixed a bug where contacts would be given additional statistical weight no matter what position they are in the result list. * Removed the exit button from application frame - to completely exit the app, kill it from windows task manager. * Reduced dictionary sizes * Decreased load times significantly * Added user consent for anonymous usage statistics gathering. * Added more progress reporting to first-time contacts build, as many users with large contact lists (over 700) thought the app was hung on the last build step. * Decreased delay in displaying results * Added logic to help the app in predicting the right short word (we, are, the, for etc.) when the word is quickly typed in by user without speaking it. * Removed app signature from SMS replies * Drawing fixes to the scrollable result list control * Contact names are now limited to 10 separate words * Significantly reduced amount of memory app tries to reserve on startup. * Fixes to noise filtering algorithm (RAGS) * MUCH improved american english pronunciations ![]() Here's a 3rd update to TravellingWave and what's been added and fixed The beta has been updated with some fixes. Here's whats fixed and improved- March 4 2010 2ND BETA RELEASE Bug Fixes: * Fixed a problem where application would hang during "Build Contacts" step for users with non-Roman and extended ASCII characters in phone book contacts. VoicePredict currently supports only American English. Please note that extended ASCII characters (Œ, š, é and so on) are converted to appropriate standard ASCII (oe, sh, e and so on), while non-Roman characters are skipped. So, a name entered in Japanese, for example, will show up and be filtered as "Unnamed". Also, please remember that for large phone book sizes (over 200) "Building Contacts" step will still take up some time on first app start. For example, on a 528 MHz phone a 700 contact phonebook will take approximately a minute and a half to build for the first time. * Fixes to versioning. VoicePredict has been tested on the phone models listed below. If your device is not on the list, do not worry, as chances are VoicePredict will still run on your device just fine - we just can't guarantee it, as of yet. Twitter and Facebook functionality: ------------------------ Facebook and Twitter functionalities are provided through SMS. You will need to activate/register your device with Twitter and/or Facebook in order for this feature to work. SMS charges may apply. Refer to Twitter and Facebook web sites and/or your network carrier for information on mobile messaging numbers. FIRST BETA RELEASE Fast and easy mobile text input using accurate speech recognition. Sign up for the beta is closed, but I have both the exe file and a cab I made. If there's any interest in this, I can post the files later this afternoon. It's said to work on most if not all HTC devices, and probably on devices from other manufacturers. So, ill share if anyone wants to try. I advise watching the video from their website to get a good idea what this app really does. dschoenike Last edited by dschoenike; 03-21-2010 at 03:22 PM. Reason: updated cab file and info |
