Stand-Alone Calendar Program

I need a separate calendar program besides the one that is already on my htc touch pro2.

I have searched high and low and only found applications that work with the existing calendaring system in the phone. I want my personal calendar information to be separate from my work calendar.

Is there such a beast available.

Re: Stand-Alone Calendar Program

Thanks! I will look check it out tomorrow.

Edit: It appears ThumbCal is a dead project. I can't beleive there is such a lack of separate calendar apps.

It's not dead at all. A new beta of the latest version (1.4) will probably be up this weekend. Just check the forum.

Though I don't believe it works separately from the existing, built-in calendar. Pocket Informant may have this capability, but I'm not sure.

Re: Stand-Alone Calendar Program

If you want to keep your personal calendar on google, Inesoft Calendar will sync with Outlook and Google and you can show either or both on your TP2

++ Inesoft Calendar
I have the same need, and it fits the bill. I just wish they'd do more with it.

Re: Stand-Alone Calendar Program

I just checked back in on a service that I used to use - MemoToo.com - you configure MemoToo to connect to one or more of your Google Calendars (or other various sources) and then you install a SyncML client on your phone (there are several available - I use Funambol). MemoToo acts as your integration point for connecting calendars/contacts/tasks/notes from a wide variety of sources. What sets it apart from other similar hosted services is that MemoToo offers incredibly wide support for import and export data formats, as well as several open and published synchronization protocols. They even publish their own API.
