HOW TO: Link TF3D Internet Tab to Opera 10

If you have a Sprint Touch Diamond here is how to make your Internet tab use Opera 10 instead of Opera 9:
-Download and install Total Commander: http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm

-In Total Commander navigate to Windows\27c65cbd_manila

-Add this line:
<BrowserExe>"\ProgramFiles\OperaMobile10\Opera10-armv4i.exe"</BrowserExe>

*note: modify this to be the directory for the exe file for the browser you want to use - it will need to be modified if you installed Opera 10 to Internal Storage


Some gliches to still be worked out: when you open Opera 10 through he TF3D internet tab it will open a second page and go to a File/localhost error page. If anyone knows how to fix it please post!

It does this for me automatically when installing. When it asks you would you like to make opera 10 your default browser, choose yes. Works fine.

i did this as well and i still get opera 9 lauching when pressing the icon web

I believe I have found the registry setting to change the link for your internet globe!!!

Here goes:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\DEFBROWSER\1 -CHANGE the string from "windows\OperaL.exe" to whatever you want.
Let me know if this works for you.

I made an update to my initial post...
I also tried the registry hack on my Sprint Diamond - didn't work.
