what are you talking about? i've never had an issue using aGPS or GPS with google maps... atleast since the 2.2 builds.

i guess this begs another questions though, wth did i miss? last i remember we were in the 2.x versions and now it's 4.0? doesn't seem to be any major update to qualify skipping 3.x ya know?

Re: Google Maps 4.0 out for Windows Mobile

Google Maps keeps crashing on me every time i try to update my location or try to use the gps to obtain my location. Is this happening with any one else?

Re: Google Maps 4.0 out for Windows Mobile

The last versions didn't seem to work with CDMA Sprint properly, now it is... ya!

How do you set it to run latitude in background, or startup with windows on resets? On the older versions, when you existed it asked if you wanted to keep latitude running.

I'm talking about cell tower location not gps or agps. And it hasn't worked on Sprint touch pros till version 4 (unless you had a custom rom and even then it was hit or miss)

Re: Google Maps 4.0 out for Windows Mobile

4.0 works fine for me also. No crashes anymore and GPS functionality on TP stock rom. I'm not getting any Buzz though and there doesn't seem to be any way in the menu to activate the layer that has it. Maybe it's just that no one is Buzzing way out in the outskirts where I live.
