text message auto-delete?

ok so i'm frustrated and ive been searching the forums for a half hour. i'm probably just not doing it right. so i apologize in advance if i missed something.

does anyone know of a program that will monitor the text messages on my phone and auto-delete them once they reach a certain amount or age? i have a bunch of messages on my phone and i would rather not have to go through and manually delete them one at a time and i really don't want to delete them all. any suggestions?

Re: text message auto-delete?

I dont know of a program but you dot have to delete them one at a time. I just select all from the menu and hit delete. I'll come back and post if I do find something.

Re: text message auto-delete?

that's what i don't want to do...... i want to keep the recent ones.... deleting them all is what i usually have to do if i don't flash for a while (when i'm on my kicks i'll flash 5 roms in a day). finally found one that i'm pretty happy with and now this problem. of all the programs out there for winmo it surprises me that something like this isn't common. i mean... the other option is to delete the messages through myphone's website but that's not as convenient as a program that you could set on a schedule like cleanram.

Re: text message auto-delete?

well if you go to menu (soft key at the bottom right) and hit select messages, and then click several (instead of all) you can make multiple selections to delete, withougt deleting them all... then u can delent as many as you want, in one shot!

Re: text message auto-delete?

I use SMS Purger. It lets you delete all texts from your inbox or sent from any date you choose and back. sometimes it takes a few minutes if you have lots of texts but it does a pretty good job.
