- I have had no memory issues, maybe using a program like memaid might help you free up some space.
- if you have the "turbo" option selected, graphics may show up pixelated.
- I don't use OZim so i cannot help you there
- mobile redirects happen on every device, and every browser. sorry
- by sending messages to you mean using the myspace IM option, or just sending someone a PM? if its just sending a PM, you can do that easily through the mobile site. as for tagged.com, i don't use that site, so i cannot offer a solution.
- I have no idea why you're having this issue, i have never had a problem with using the keyboard on opera mobile. Maybe someone using the same phone/ROM would be able to shed a little more light on it.

No browser is perfect, and Opera is still in Beta, so it's bound to have some bugs. Luckily you don't have to give them any money, as they are offering it to the public for free. One of the reasons they do this is to get feedback on what to fix, and what features the consumer wants. so if these are issues you would like fixed in the next version, I'm sure opera would love to hear from you. It allows them to develop a better product, and thats good for everyone. Go here to reports bugs: http://www.opera.com/support/bugs/
on myspace i mean when you browse and send someone a regular message from the browse , you cant do that, and you cant browse at all from the mobile site. iris browser does not do any mobile redirects (as long as desktop mode is enabled)

and in the Internet explorer i used in the custom roms, these issues werent present but my phone always bricks within 24 hours of flashing one so no go there

Re: Why is Opera mobile so crappy? (Rant)

i like opera mobile 10, but it's too slow and still has poor rendering. i hate the lag when scrolling through pages. its also crashes or has problems with several custom ROMs cause of memory and other issues. om9.5/9.7 were faster, but didn't have some of the cool options. I end up using opera mini for its speed, but that has big problems too - when you click links sometimes it opens the wrong address and you have to try several times....

it seems you covered most browsers, but what about the latest version of skyfire? no rant for that?

Re: Why is Opera mobile so crappy? (Rant)

The irony of all this is that I am posting this from my HTC Kaiser, using opera mobile. I have the java that came installed with the kaiser itself, maybe you have an old java version?
I find it extremely fast when compared to any other browser. The only problem is that you can't select text and that flash movies don't play.
Sometimes I use skyfire which is slower than opera, but way cooler, and frendlier. Make sure you have the latest version of opera and java, and you won't be saying that opera sucks anymore!

You sure you're talking about Opera Mobile? I've never heard you need Java to run it. But I know for sure that that's the case for Opera Mini. Both come from the same company but are completely different affairs.
