Re: Finger Friendly Friends - Contact Manager

using this for a bit here.
am noticing that unless the phone number is entered in as 'Home', or 'Work', the phone will not display when looking up the contact..

i have business relationships with many contacts - and i file their phone number under 'Company ', instead of 'Work'.
when filed this way, FFF does not display the # - so i then have to go into poutlook to fetch the number and subsequently place the call.

anyone else ? perhaps a reg tweak to enable lookup of the number regardless of how it's filed ?

I contacted them a few months ago and he said he was thinking about adding this as a feature to the program. I have since contacted him again but have not heard back. I don't know if he is working on this program any longer as there hasn't been any updates in a long time. It's too bad as I really like this program but I need a way also to search by company name.

Re: Finger Friendly Friends - Contact Manager

This could be a killer app if it supported VGA, but seems it doesn't. I try on ETEN M800 but characters are too small to see.

I too am having this problem. even the contacts from the start menu will try to load up FFF. Seems like somewhere in the registry i'm guessing FFF changed the default contacts program to theirs. Anyone know where i can find the folder in the registry to change the contacts program path back to the default?

Re: Finger Friendly Friends - Contact Manager

it hijacks your contacts button...been trying to get rid of this stupid fff for the last 4 hours and it either gives me nothing when i manually change the contacts button to point to the default contacts or it gives you an error that fff was not found.

i dont suggest anyone using this program. 1) its not worth the $15 and 2) it doesnt let you uninstall.

Re: Finger Friendly Friends - Contact Manager

Seems like many people have experienced problems with FFF. I for one have not. So, for anyone else like myself who actually gives a darn, here's the latest beta release 1..beta.1: http://www.jotto.no/fff/download.html
