I didn't bother with an uninstall- it tells you that the old version will be uninstalled before the new version is installed (at least in win mo 6.5). so i just got the cab and installed. btw- working great.

Out of habit, I always uninstall old versions of apps myself. But either way is fine.

Just go to the link in post #1 and grab the new update. Uninstall the old one first.

Do I have to re-put in my activation code?

I have not updated yet so I'm not sure. Only one way to find out...

I compiled a list of the suggestions here and emailed nanogroove. Here is the response:

Hello Steve,

Thanks for still maintaining the thread.

Your list of suggestions is pretty comprehensive and contains a lot of improvements that people have been asking/contacting me about. Most if not all of the suggestions will find their way in a new version of nanoGroove.
The tab/folder idea to select a screen is what I considered doing for a moment but as you already mentioned it might eat up too much screen real estate. Windows Mobile is a very versatile platform and therefore runs on a great number of devices with screen resolutions as low as 240x240 up to 800x440 and even greater. Designing an interface that suits all those devices is challenging and perhaps in the near future we won't be paying as much attention to the low res. devices anymore.

As you might know, Grooveshark is being sued by the Universal Media Group. We are anxiously waiting how that is going to affect the Grooveshark service. Until then no major modifications are made (only minor improvements and bug fixes).
For those not familiar with the current legalities, here is a few links to bring you up to speed.

It seems like we do not have too much to worry about as they have been down this road before and do actually pay for licensing, etc.

Grooveshark is down (probably maintenance) but just wanted to know if Nanogroove also would not work. So I tried to use Nanogroove and it gives me an error about internet connection, so that answers that!

Kind of a strange situation indeed, to be selling a program that depends on an entirely different company's creation to work or not work!!

The Groove shark page is a little humorous at the monent http://listen.grooveshark.com

Thanks

I'm getting this as well on my Diamond (v 1.0.1) when trying to login to get access to my playlists. I know Grooveshark was down earlier, but it appears to be up now.
