What to backup, which one?

I am looking at Sprite Backup and SPB Backup. Help me choose. If anyone can put their 2 cents in, good or bad love to hear it.

Sprite screwed up my Mogul back in the day when it was released, however, it worked fine on my 700wx.

Spb has worked fine on my Mogul.

I use SPB Backup. Never used Sprite, but I have never had any problems with SPB.

Do the backup programs really work? I have heard both bad and good. Some say it worked very well and some say it didn't restore correctly.

What are the thoughts of those using them?

SPB has worked great on my Mogul and I used Sprite back when I had a 700wx which worked well for it. I prefer SPB out of the two, but both are good products.

Sprite had some nasty issues with WM6 devices when the Mogul first came out. However, they have released an update for WM6 devices so the issues are likely fixed.

The main thing to keep in mind is that backup is only good for the ROM version you currently have. If you flash the ROM to a new version, its a very bad idea to do a total restore using either of these apps. You can do a selective restore instead.

I've done countless backups and restores with Sprite and have never had a single issue. As long as you're not restoring across ROMs, you won't have any problems.

The FTP is one feature I do like about Sprite.

SPB Backup with XV6700. No problems. Enough options for me. Saves me a ton of work if I need to hard reset.
