ok, guys who is interested in having the 40 keys all the time? someone in XDA dev applied the hack so you can use the 40 keys but you will loose the xt9 option, if yes then I will upload the necessary files with a tut in the 1st post.

For those who couldn't get this to work on the Mogul, I was having the same problem. I'd go to "input" on the settings menu and see the touch kb there and switch to it but it would always revert back to the default kb when I exited. What I found out was it IS installed but I had to select it from the bottom keyboard icon.
1. Go into any program or menu. 2. Look at the bottom of the screen, you'll see the tiny keyboard icon you'd normally see, but right next to it is a little tiny "up" arrow. Click on the arrow and a list pops up and you can choose the touch keyboard (or touchpal or whatever) from that list. That's what worked for me. |

"A Midlet thread threw an exception. Kill the Midlet?" I keep getting this error...just installed Operamini4 again thinking the "official" release today would work. This is the first thing that happens after I put in a URL address.

this is a very cool layout. it figures out the word for you when you type and you only have to touch each dual key once. This is a layout that is hard to get used to , but once you get used to it you can really fly. i know bc/ my gf has the same layout on her blackberry pearl and it always pissed me off that she could type so fast with one hand. I am having trouble getting it working and installed. is anyone else having this problem?
