so after i installed this keyboard, my auto name/number input for text messages stopped working.

the keyboard works fine, but that auto name recognition thing is gone. it was quite useful, anyone if this has anything to do with the keyboard or is there another option?

ok, well it installed just fine on my mogul, but it shows a normal keyboard layout format. It only shows 1 function per button. Only one letter, regardless of whether i pick 12 or 20 keys. Any suggestions?

I have noticed this behavior with my Mogul with certain apps. Also this KB dose not work in Weather Panel.

Do you have TouchPal installed? I had the same problems when bother were installed. Try this:

1. Uninstall TouchPal
2. Soft reset.
3. Install HTC Keyboard.
4. Soft reset.
5. Hopefully enjoy!

ROM shouldn't matter.

On a different note, anyone notice that when T9 is selected, when you type on the slide out keyboard the T9 is still in effect?

Am I missing something? Why does everyone want an on screen keyboard for a phone that has a full keyboard, what would be the big benefit?

Quick text entering when you don't want to slide out the key board...depends on the user if they are looking for a more one-handed use of the device.
