Deepfish... Forget it!

Deepfish is taking WAY too long, is there a free, non-beta browser out there with the same "zoom" feature?

Yes, but there are several java environments for ppc that are capable of running it.

Opera Mini .cab?

Is there a .cab version of Opera Mini? All I can see are .jas and .jar files, none of which would open on my 6700.

That's because Opera Mini is a Java based browser, there is no CAB. You need a Java applet to use it.

You need an application that will let you run Java applications on your device. I don't know if the 6700 came with one, I know the 6800 does.

You can try the one from the following post, many used it with Google Maps before there was a WM version of it.

Alrigth jamieh, I see you have created 3 different threads about browsers. Let's try to keep the dicussion in one place. It will be better for you and others to provide answers.

1 thread locked, 2 merged.
