Ok so here's what I do step by step. With Sprint TV not on my device, I install the 1005 .cab on to my device. I exit the program as soon as it opens after it's done installing. I soft-reset my device as I normally do after I install a new application. I then copy the cache folder from this thread into my Sprint TV folder. I run the app. and EVERYTHING works as it did in the previous weeks. Every channel is available, the video and sound work as they should.I exit the app. I check the cache folder and everything is still there along with ONE extra file under the menu folder, that file is "mi1" and another thing I notice is the other 2 files are updated with the time/date when I open the app. THEN, I open Sprint TV again, and here we are, nothing works, everything is stuck on loading. When I check the cache folder, only the menu subfolder is present. I'm ready to give up on Sprint TV. I've tried everything I can think of including reading this thread over and over again. Can someone with a properly working app. PLEASE give me your input?

I was also having this problem, except my cache files would go away after a soft reset.

I noticed that the cache files posted in this thread has read only on the cache, channels, lineups, menu and icons folders, but they did not on my phone. Using my computer and browsing the files on my phone I did properties on these folders that exist on my phones and set them to read only, now when I do a soft reset and run Sprint TV the channels are there.

I hope this helps you. I just now tried this and so far so good.

I'll try that, thanks Polen! One thing I noticed on my end was the files were still present after a soft reset. The only time they disappeared was when I ran the app. for the 2nd time after it first worked, if that makes sense. Grrrrr, I went to sleep trying fix this and I woke up with it on my mind! LOL Ohhh man... =)

Oh, another thing for people to make sure of. Make sure that you are copying the cache directory into Program Files\SprintTV directory and not the Windows directory. The post that has the cache.zip file said he got them from that directory, but I found it won't work in the Windows directory.

Well, to tell you the truth, I'm not sure if the cache files were gone after a soft reset. I ran SprintTV after a soft reset and got loading... in the guide. Exited STV and saw no cache files.

When I mark the files as read-only while they are on my HD, they don't stick once they are transferred to my memory card. Using Total Commander, it shows the read-only box as un-checked. When I try to check them in Total Commander, it doesn't stick there either. It didn't work for me. =/

SprintTV needs to be installed in main memory.

Browse to the files on your phone from your computer using Explorer and set the read only property from your computer's interface, not the phone.
