What do you use to stream MP3's?

I use Mortplayer but find it frustrating when signal drops and outdated/no longer supported. It doesn't reconnect when signal is lost or attempt to, I have to manually pull my Touch Pro out of my pocket and press play again. I am hoping someone on this forum can recommend a better media player that streams URLs like the ETN.FM Progressive Trance channel. Something with an auto reconnect feature so I don't have to mess with it.

Thank you.

Re: What do you use to stream MP3's?

I'm sorry maybe I'm missing something, the whole reason I'm using Mortplayer is because when I try to load a streaming MP3 URL (http://www.etn.fm/playlists/etn2beta.m3u) into WMP it gives an error:
Quote:
Windows Media
Cannot play the file. The file is either corrupted or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play
Or I get the Parameter is Incorrect if I load the actual urlort.

How do you get it to work?

Re: What do you use to stream MP3's?

I can't get it to work either, my own playlists are in the .asx format from my Orb and from 1.fm I tried to rename that playlist to .pls and .asx just to see, but WM refuses to play it either way.

Try that GSPlayer I linked above, it's a pretty lightweight player and works well. The only downfall to it is that controls from your bluetooth headset won't work with it like they do with WMP.

Wow man good call on the GSPlayer.. Only a couple interruptions all day then it began to play after.. No having to manually press play again! Very useful for a car or bicycle ride!
