Disable charging over USB

Disable charging over USB:

If your device can charge over USB, you can probably disable this feature by setting:
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\usbfndrv\EnableUsbCharging = 0 (DWORD decimal)
And to re-enable:
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\usbfndrv\EnableUsbCharging = 1 (DWORD decimal)

and its weird the treo has "usbfndrv" the 6700 only has "usbfn"

I just wonder why anyone wants to disable charging over usb. I love this feature. When I can't find my charger, I just plug it in the usb.

i will disable it because, like any other battey, overcharging will lead to a shorter battery life..i only connect USB for uploads or tweaks..

One of the things I miss about the 6700 is charging from usb. I would go out of town, all I needed to take was my laptop, Nexzen BT, and my 6700. I could plug in the laptop then just plug in the PPC and BT to usb. When I woke up everything was charged. Now I need a charger for the 700wx, I will leave it in a hotel room sooner or later

Yes do, I will be interested for sure, I have been thinking about getting one but I am still on the fence
