need to clear email account from memory

Hi,

I sent my ipaq in for service and before I did, I backed up everything to the sd card. when it came back i did a restore and everything was back perfectly except my email acount. Outlook email was all there. I went to create a new account for this email but the system says it already exists. The problem is that is does not show up in the list. So I gave it a new account name BUT when I reboot the machine this new account disappears as well. What can I clear from the main memory or registry that will fix this problem.

Did you try a hard-reset? That will get rid of all settings.

I've had the same problem with the account disappearing. The only thing is, mine would just be there one day, and then the next, be gone. Could'nt re-add it, cause it said it already exists. There has to be link to the account somewhere in the registry.. We need to find it...

Worked like a charm on my WM5 Apache. I've never tried it on a WM6 device, but I think it should work.

Anyhow - better than a hard reset.
