If you want to save all of your existing mail, move everything in this directory to the new ones on your Storage Card.
Now fire up your registry editor and navigate to the following.

Im sure I forgot to thank some people for this but i do apologize. I dont have a big ego and think that i did this all myself. this was just me when i had my stock alltel rom and i wanted to boost the performace as much as i can.

im new to this where do u go on the phone to input the values to tweak the phone

First, please dont quote huge posts like this, a lot of us browse this forum on our phones.

Second, you need to dl a registry editor. Your phone does not come with such a program, as to alleviate the user from being able to tinker with settings, and what not.

Just to keep them all in one place, here are two tweaks that I thought others would want to know:

1. Disable HTC dialer/Tachi. The stock/default Windows Mobile dialer isn't quite as pretty, but it is functional and uses up about 10MB less of RAM. There are also many themes developed for it if you wish.
(Please note, depending on your rom the ## codes many not function with the stock/default dialer. YMMV!)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin
Change the value of 'Enabled' from 1 to 0.

2. Solve 'some' of the ring delay issues in the HTC Dialer/Tachi by disabling the 'incoming call annoucement' in Microsoft Voice Command. Go to start/setting personal tab at bottom/voice command/highlight phone/options. uncheck announce incoming call feature.

There is a registry tweak for this (so you won't have to do it manually), but so-far I have been unable to find it. I will update this post once I do.
