Re: Remove WM Screen Keyboards

There is probably a registry hack that will do it, but I am not sure of it..

Null Keyboard may work for you. It's a SIP that displays nothing, used to avoid the pop-up input area. You'll have to select a different SIP each time you do want to get a input pad though.

What I'd really like to find would be a way to disable SIP display in landscape mode, but leave it enabled in portrait.

This isn't quite what you are looking for, but it does allow you to have one SIP in landscape and a different one if portrait. It's a really cool app. It is a bit buggy, but works 99.9% of the time. I would definitely suggest checking it out...

Also, this reg edit disables the auto pop-up feature of the SIP. I forgot who I got it from (someone from PPCG), but it works fine without any issues.

Thanks, it has the basic functionality I'm looking for but only seems to support a limited set of predefined SIPs. If it recognized the presence of Null Keyboard it would be perfect.

What exactly does this regedit do? If it disables the auto popup how do I then select a keyboard when I need one? Thanks in advance.

Re: Remove WM Screen Keyboards

Any thoughts as to how to remove a SIP? I followed the directions to disable the stock full keyboard SIP, and the damn thing still crawls back to life and pops up time to time.

I can't simply delete the registry keys for the Full keyboard, because every time I do, my phone will not boot after the next reset.

When I try to use SKTools to remove the Full Keyboard SIP, it tells me the Full Keyboard is still set as the default keyboard, and then it wont let me change it. Strange error message as I have used both SIPChange and SKtools to set another SIP as the default.

Somewhat frustrating.... someone toss me a bone here........ either tell me what registry keys I can manually set to change the default, or tell me how to purge my phone of the full keyboard.

I'm trying to figure this out I can't stand the small keyboard that keeps popping up I want to set my default sip to the full qwerty.
