Re: Speed up Storage Card

Has anyone had any success with 6.5? or is there a 6.5 version? I am thinking of trying it on HTC Imagio. But cant take the risk if just in case, I cant uninstall it. Any more advice from anyone? Thanks

I'm using a 6.5 ROM and it works fine for me. (Touch Pro with one of Bazzle's Clean ROMs).

Re: Speed up Storage Card

This is a great tweak. I noticed the difference most in S2P music player. It was really laggy before and it works dramatically better now.

Re: Speed up Storage Card

FYI. if your transfer speeds to the pc are slow ( ~100k/s) you may want to make sure your pc is running your hdd is in DMA mode. my lappy hasn't been running the best, but it was only when I got my tp2 and started transfering files off/on my card and getting rediculously slow speads that I googled and was told to check that. indead my IDE controlers were set to PIO. I'm sure it was due to me trying to recover a scratched dvd.

normally I wouldn't post such info here, but I belive there have to be at least a few visitors here that will encounter the same.

late,

I stuck this on my fone (Motosurf a3100 wm6.1 16gb microSDHC Class VI) and it created havoc ...card was no longer "seen" by phone ...fired it into reader and backed it up, as it was seen by winXPhomeSP3 box ...happily I had used RegEdit to save a copy of the registry (hehee) ...stuck that back on and back in business after some folderol with the name of the SD card (windows put a folder "Storage Card" up as it had in it some folders as targets and recreated them resulting in the SD card reinserted after registry restored being seen as "Storage Card2" ...fixed by changing name of "Storage Card" to "Storage Card1" and then renamed "Storage Card2" to "Storage Card") ...works! ...now, as to the explanation of the deficiency... I see in the registry edits shown one creates a reference to the file system as FAT ...this card is FAT32 and I think that's the rub!! *...comments? *
...as a result, I learned again to back-up everything!!
