I'm using a 6.5 ROM and it works fine for me. (Touch Pro with one of Bazzle's Clean ROMs).

Re: Speed up Storage Card

This is a great tweak. I noticed the difference most in S2P music player. It was really laggy before and it works dramatically better now.

Re: Speed up Storage Card

FYI. if your transfer speeds to the pc are slow ( ~100k/s) you may want to make sure your pc is running your hdd is in DMA mode. my lappy hasn't been running the best, but it was only when I got my tp2 and started transfering files off/on my card and getting rediculously slow speads that I googled and was told to check that. indead my IDE controlers were set to PIO. I'm sure it was due to me trying to recover a scratched dvd.

normally I wouldn't post such info here, but I belive there have to be at least a few visitors here that will encounter the same.

Re: Speed up Storage Card

you can disable usb in activesync, it won't spead it up much, but atleast it will be less likely to confuse your pc.

Has anyone tried this cab on a TP2 or Tilt 2 with WM6.5? Any problems? Thanks.

Re: Speed up Storage Card

the best way to speed up your sd card on your device is to buy a better class and format it with the correct block size for the capacity of the card
