MP3 as Ring tone

Hi Gurus,

I can't use MP3 or other format as ring tone.

Pls help!

Which phone are you using?

This should be as easy as navigating and finding the file you want to use and selecting it as your ringer.

Make sure you place your MP3s in the Windows\Rings folder.

Try another mp3 the file you are trying to use is maybe corrupt, after a crash or something?

I converted the mp3s to WMA and compressed them... you dont need a huge high quality mp3 since the speaker can't handle it.

can mp4's work too?
i'm soon to buy a mogul, and all my ringtones that i made were for a samsung a900.
or would i have to batch convert them?

yea just batch convert them, it wont read mp4's without tcpmp and the right codecs....make them mp3's or wma's
