SMS notification sound

I have a 6700 w/ wm5 and i know that to have your own notification sound for SMS you must put a .wav file in the \windows directory of the phone. I did this and I noticed that when you read your sms, the phone continues to play the sound/song until it's finished. I was wondering if there's a registry tweak or somethin that could make the phone stop the sound once if you read the text while it's still playing?

i experienced that and i went out in public and my phone was going insane, i was in a call and 30 ringers where going of at once, i just made mine like 3 seconds long like if you know patience by GNR i use the part that says "said women takin it slow and you'll work yourself out fine" i love that song so i dare people to make fun of it in another post.
