Yah, I finally got it too.. I cant notice any improvement either ..

There is a reg edit for the 6700.

HKCU/ControlPanel/Phone

Change the Vol entry to 95000

It seemed to help a little, I don know if it is psycosimatic or not.

Does anyone know if any larger values will work?

hmm... mine is default with the button cranked up at 65535 which for the programers represents a magic number. 65535 is the maximum value for an computer to repesent an interger type number. I doubt anything will make a difference above this value. But... ill try anyway

Update on the vol reg. hasent made any difference over 65535 so no luck there

What about a reg edit to increase the ring volume? Its a little low on my Touch.

I did so and did notice a difference was louder to me however after a soft reset it changes back to default??? how can i make this stick?
