I found that also... But what does it do? mine is set to 300 by default? it doesnt seem to effect anything when you change it...

my moguls is infinite...just splits it into multiple messages at incriments of 160 characters

yep I have vx6800 with VZW and just sent a 1900 char sms message.
It was divided up into 12 messages though!!!

I just checked my email account and only received the first message...???
maybe they are stuck in cyberspace traffic?
