I found that also... But what does it do? mine is set to 300 by default? it doesnt seem to effect anything when you change it...

yep I have vx6800 with VZW and just sent a 1900 char sms message.
It was divided up into 12 messages though!!!

I just checked my email account and only received the first message...???
maybe they are stuck in cyberspace traffic?
