I installed this hack and the website I am trying to access, www.cigalert.com, still sees my browser as a PPC browser and does not allow access. I am using a Mogul w/ WM 6.0. What else can I do to get the site allow access (as if I was on a regular PC)?

Did you soft reset the phone, after you installed the hack?

Yes, of course. I think I read somewhere once that some web site creators can determine if the user is using a mobile device or a PC based on the screen size information sent by the device (PPC or PC). I wonder if this is the case and if something can be done about that, too.

Anyway, maybe someone who knows how can test this site on their PC and PPC and see if it can be accessed from the PPC without restriction: www.sigalert.com

Question Once Installed, Can It Be Removed?

I copy the cab file to my PPC. I run the cab file, making changes to the registry (hack). I delete the cab file that I copied to my PPC. Now a program exists in the "Remove Programs" list (Start > Settings > Remove Programs). Once the hack (registry alteration) has been made by the program, can the program now be removed, as well, or will this reverse the hack?
