The problem im having is that i have a blackberry 7520 and im trying to send ringtones and other files from my ppc6800 over to the device. Also im trying to develop a connection with my 6800 and laptop. If anyone can help me out just give feedback on these questions i asked?[/b]

I don't know too much about this. I tried to send to my mother's phone a Samsung A640 a pic on my Mogul (6800) via bluetooth. I paired her phone with my phone and I saw it in my list of devices. But each time I sent the pict it failed.

But what I think I have heard about bluetooth is that you need a bluetooth receiver on your laptop and I guess just like pairing your headset to your phone you would have to pair the laptop and phone together. Making sure both devices are set to discover new devices. I think with regards to IR you must have a IR port on your laptop. My previous laptop has that capabilty but I haven't used it. I gave the computer to my sister.

I hope someone else can answer this question for you because I surely wouldn't mind hearing the answer.
