Re: P2P Apps for Pocket PC
I have installed this 3 times already and
I cant get it to run. I get an error message everytime I try to run it. The program just crashes. So I have yet to even see the program. I am running dharvey's rom with net compact already installed. Can anybody give me any ideas of what I might be doing wrong. |

who is running Dharvy's rom can confirm? But it does detect the netcf is present after the first run after install. Maybe its because .netcf was cooked on the rom. instead of installed manually |

Re: P2P Apps for Pocket PC
I didn't get it to work the first time I installed it. I have to do some trial and error. Installing the .netcf for me makes the proggy crash. I could not even see it coz once I opened it, It will immediately crash. SO I removed the .netcf and it runs flawlessly. I mention this on my first post. Why don't U backup ur .netcf and uninstall it then try the app again. maybe it would work.

Re: P2P Apps for Pocket PC
Those that have gotten this to work... was it using the standard data connection? I have gotten it to run, and try to connect, but it never can connect. I have found ( forget where ) some cache files to insert and they don't help it find anything. I've also tried adding a new gnutela connection server from a google search, same thing, simply won't connect. it seems like a firewall blocking issue of some sort, reports an IPv6 address in the status. i'm using Bell, anyone have this working on Bell specifically?
to those who have it crash... there are 2 or 3 files it creates first time it loads, I found it would load the 1st time, then crash every time after, removing them will allow it to load again..... sometimes. hehe For what it's worth, I did not allow it to install it's version of .net Everything seems to be "working" with the program, so I'm just wondering if Bell is screwing me on it somehow. |
