hey, thats a known problem with the lg menu....i do know how to edit programs, but this one, it just cant be changed though...ive tried hex editing it but it just errors out....dont think its likely it will be able to be done.sorry. only 1 or 2 buttons in the menu dont work...but they r not heavily used ones like java manager and something else.

Do you know the paths they are trying to call for the ones which do not work? That way for instance if I am using 1calc.exe and it is looking for "calc.exe" I can copy the file if necessary so it works. I browsed lgmenu.exe with a hex editor but did not see anything that looked like a list of paths.

I have tried over and over to get this installed on my i760and I have finally given up and I am looking for help. The first problem is the HTC Plus installs, puts the tab in the Today settings, but doesn't give me the option to select it in the items. The second, I put the nobottombar.exe in the windows/startup folder, but it still shows up. Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry, I dont use messenger, I thought I read somewhere there is a reg hack to get the plus to show up in the items, but I can't seem to find it. I have soft reset and reinstalled the plus 4 times now all with the same result. I have uninstalled both htc home and the customizer and that didn't help either. Shy of a hard reset, I am out of options. As far as the nobottombar.exe, I followed your read me text to the letter, so I'm not sure whats up with that but i think i can live with it, so it falls to the bottom of the list.

I don't know if this will help, but here is a list (in order) of installed programs:

HTC SDHC (just added today so i can use a 4gig microsd card)
jamesus Quickmenu
pocketmax spacer2
lg today buttons
HTC HTC Plus
HTC HTC home
emunutz HTC Home Customizer
resco today skin smile
resco today skin compact
resco today alfa
resco today skin smilevga
resco today plugin
resco registry add-in
resco ftp add-in
resco explorer
macromedia flash player activex
microsoft office mobile
microsoft .net cf 2.0

Dunno if this helps or adds to the confusion.
